Starting a great volunteers’ organization is always a challenging task. Making the volunteers excited to participate and contribute their time and talent is even more difficult. Additionally, it is quite demanding if the volunteers are spread across the United States. OSA’s 50th Convention served as a catalyst and brought all the like-minded odia physicians from across the country together to form the OSA Health and Wellness group. This organization aims to enhance the quality of healthcare for the odia people in North America and in Odisha. It is amazing how one can achieve greatness when we come together. I am glad to be a part of a very talented and brilliant group of individuals who want to contribute to the community in a big way. I believe 2020 will bring many projects to enhance and accomplish the many worthy goals of this fantastic organization.
